Terms of Use

Effective Date: March 1, 2025

Welcome to CurrentLightFlux. By accessing our website or participating in our blockchain deployment education programs, you're agreeing to these terms. We've written this in plain language because legal documents shouldn't require a law degree to understand.

These terms apply to everyone who interacts with our services—whether you're browsing course information, enrolling in programs, or engaging with our educational content. If something here doesn't make sense, reach out. We'd rather clarify than confuse.

1. Acceptance and Scope

When you use currentlightflux.com or engage with our educational offerings, you accept these terms in full. This includes our teaching materials, online resources, assessment tools, and any supplementary content we provide throughout your learning experience.

We update these terms occasionally—usually when we add new programs or change how we deliver education. Major changes get communicated directly through email. Continuing to use our services after updates means you accept the revised terms.

Who Can Use Our Services

Our programs are designed for adults aged 18 and above. If you're younger, you'll need parental consent and supervision. We focus on technical blockchain education, so participants should have basic computer literacy and English language comprehension at an intermediate level.

2. Educational Services and Programs

CurrentLightFlux offers structured learning programs focused on blockchain deployment technologies. Our curriculum covers theoretical foundations and hands-on implementation, but we're educators—not employment agencies or financial advisors.

What We Provide

  • Comprehensive course materials covering blockchain infrastructure and deployment methodologies
  • Access to learning management systems and technical documentation
  • Instructor guidance during scheduled program sessions
  • Assessment and feedback on technical projects
  • Certificate of completion for students who meet program requirements

What We Don't Promise

Education opens doors, but it doesn't guarantee specific outcomes. We don't promise job placements, salary levels, or career advancement. Your results depend on your effort, prior experience, market conditions, and how you apply what you learn.

Technology changes constantly. While our curriculum stays current, the blockchain field shifts rapidly. What's cutting-edge today might be standard practice next year. We teach principles and practical skills, but staying current after graduation is your responsibility.

3. Enrollment and Payment Terms

Program enrollment requires completing our application process and paying applicable tuition fees. We operate on a cohort model—programs typically launch in autumn 2025 and spring 2026, with specific dates announced at least 90 days in advance.

Tuition and Fees

All program costs are stated in New Taiwan Dollars. Tuition covers educational materials, platform access, and instructor support during your program duration. We don't hide additional fees—what you see during enrollment is what you pay.

Payment plans may be available for select programs. If you arrange a payment schedule, missing installments could result in access suspension until your account is current.

Refund Policy

You can withdraw within 14 days of program start for a full refund minus administrative fees. After that point, refunds are prorated based on completed modules. We don't offer refunds after 60% program completion—by then, you've accessed most of the curriculum.

4. Student Responsibilities

Learning is a two-way street. We create the educational environment, but getting value from it requires your active participation and professional conduct.

  1. Attend scheduled sessions: Live instruction and group discussions form core components of our programs. Missing sessions means missing context that's difficult to recreate.
  2. Complete assignments on time: Projects build on each other. Falling behind affects not just your learning but potentially your cohort's collaborative work.
  3. Maintain academic integrity: Plagiarism or copying others' work leads to immediate dismissal without refund. We're teaching professional skills—cutting corners defeats the purpose.
  4. Respect community standards: Our learning environment welcomes diverse perspectives but requires professional communication. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior isn't tolerated.
  5. Protect access credentials: Your account is yours alone. Sharing login information violates these terms and compromises system security.

Academic misconduct—including plagiarism, cheating on assessments, or misrepresenting your work—results in immediate program dismissal with no refund. We take this seriously because employers trust our certificates to reflect genuine competency.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Everything we create—course materials, video lectures, code examples, documentation, assessments—belongs to CurrentLightFlux. You get access during your enrollment and reasonable personal use afterward, but you can't redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit our content.

Your Work

Projects and code you create during programs remain yours. We might showcase student work in promotional materials or future curriculum (with permission), but you retain ownership of what you build.

If you incorporate our provided templates or starter code into your projects, that's expected and appropriate. Just don't claim you wrote the foundational elements we supplied.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect information necessary to deliver educational services—contact details, payment information, academic records, and system usage data. This data helps us improve teaching effectiveness and provide relevant support.

Your personal information isn't sold to third parties. We share data only when legally required or with service providers who help operate our platform (payment processors, email systems, hosting services). These partners are contractually bound to protect your information.

Course participation sometimes involves peer collaboration and public presentations of project work. By enrolling, you consent to this visibility within your cohort and understand that some projects might be showcased publicly.

7. Platform Access and Technical Requirements

Our programs require reliable internet access and hardware capable of running development tools. You're responsible for maintaining equipment and connectivity—we can't provide technical support for personal devices.

System maintenance occasionally requires temporary platform downtime. We schedule this during off-hours when possible and provide advance notice for planned interruptions. Emergency maintenance happens when necessary to protect system security.

Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend access if you violate these terms, engage in behavior that disrupts other students, or use our platform in ways that compromise system integrity. Serious violations result in permanent termination without refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

We work hard to provide quality education, but we can't control every outcome. CurrentLightFlux isn't liable for indirect damages, lost opportunities, or consequences of how you apply what you learn.

If something goes wrong—say, a platform outage prevents assignment submission—our liability is limited to refunding the prorated tuition for affected periods. We don't compensate for theoretical future earnings or other indirect losses.

Technical education involves working with real systems and code. While we teach best practices, we're not responsible if you apply learned techniques improperly or in contexts that cause problems. Professional judgment and appropriate caution are your responsibility.

9. Third-Party Resources

Our curriculum sometimes references external documentation, open-source projects, or industry resources. These materials are outside our control—we don't warrant their accuracy, availability, or suitability for specific purposes.

Links to external websites are provided for educational convenience. We don't endorse these sites or assume responsibility for their content, privacy practices, or policies. Once you leave currentlightflux.com, their terms govern your activity.

10. Program Changes and Cancellations

We update curriculum regularly to reflect industry developments. Minor changes happen throughout program delivery—updated examples, refreshed tools, or adjusted pacing based on cohort progress.

Major structural changes get communicated at least 30 days in advance. If changes fundamentally alter what you enrolled for, you can withdraw for a prorated refund.

We cancel programs if enrollment doesn't meet minimum cohort sizes. When this happens before program start, you receive a full refund. Mid-program cancellation (extremely rare) results in full refund plus prorated compensation for completed portions.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by Taiwan law. Any disputes get resolved first through good-faith negotiation. If that doesn't work, we agree to mediation before pursuing formal legal action.

Legal proceedings, if necessary, occur in the courts of New Taipei City, Taiwan. By enrolling in our programs, you consent to this jurisdiction.

12. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision here is found unenforceable, the rest remains valid. We won't enforce terms we legally can't, but everything else stands.

These terms, combined with our privacy policy and any program-specific enrollment agreements, constitute the complete agreement between you and CurrentLightFlux. Previous communications or promotional materials don't supersede what's written here.
